Singapore, 29 April 2024. The 8th Edition of Singapore Interior Design Awards (SIDA) 2024 is in full swing and calling for entries worldwide. Organised by the Society of Interior Designers Singapore (SIDS), SIDA is an annual competition aimed to recognise exceptional projects and practitioners in the design industry worldwide.
Design excellence judging
SIDA is committed to selecting exceptional designs professionally, and fairly. United by a strong design know-how and holding diverse experiences, the jury panel for SIDA 2024 (Completed Projects category) is made up of renowned experts, creatives, and industry leaders in the fields of design, architecture, and hospitality: Ar. Angelene Chan, Chairman of DP Architects (Singapore), Tulsi Grover, Managing Principal of Hassell (Singapore), Gilbert Khalil, Director of Design and Technical Services at Sunset Hospitality Group (United Arab Emirates), Angela Lim, Founder of SuMisura (Singapore), Jay Osgerby, CoFounder of Barber Osgerby (United Kingdom), Aurélie Schwend, Director of Interior Design, Luxury at Marriott International (United Kingdom) and Ar. Melvin H J Tan, President of Singapore Institute of Architects 64th Council, Deputy Managing Director and Founding Partner at LAUD Architects (Singapore).The full list of jurors is available on the website.
Prompting the profiles and awareness of designers
One of the aims of SIDA 2024 is to create visibility for award winners in Singapore and globally. As a steward of the interior design industry in Singapore with access to a global network of interior design associations, the awards organiser SIDS is well-positioned to create exposure for winners. Winners will enjoy publicity including press appearances which will raise their recognition, credibility, impact and prestige.
As the world of interior design continue to grow and evolve, SIDA offers a valuable platform for showcasing creativity, skill and innovation. The competition not only bring attention to talented designers, but also promote importance of design excellence and inspire others in the industry to level up their quality of work, especially for Singapore-based designers.
The award also features a dedicated category for Singapore-based designers – Luminary – one of the highest levels of professional recognition in Singapore, honouring designers who have impacted the industry.

Invitation to participate in SIDA 2024
Entries can be submitted until 2359 hours Singapore time (GMT +8) on 2 August 2024. Excited about this edition of the awards, Fee adds, “We are thrilled to welcome this year’s submissions. We look forward to receiving even higher levels of entries from the design community.”
